Avira Antivirus update cripples millions of Windows PCs
German security company Avira antivirus support is undergoing serious technical difficulties. A faulty antivirus upgrade that has been downloaded millions of times is bringing Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 servers to a screeching halt throughout the Earth, based on user accounts (1, 2).
